M&S Banking App

The M&S Banking App has replaced the M&S Balance App. Customers who already had the app can update this from either the App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play™ (for Android™ devices).

The M&S Banking App enables you to:

  • See balances on any current account, Monthly Saver and Everyday Savings Account you hold
  • View recent transactions on your registered account(s)

Easy steps to get started

Make sure you are registered for Internet Banking as you’ll need your username, password and the answer to your security questions to log in to the app.

If you are unsure of your username, password or security answer then please see the FAQs for instructions on how to reset these online.

FAQs

I’ve forgotten my password, how can I change it?

If you’ve forgotten your password, sign in to Internet Banking, select ‘Change my sign in details’, then ‘Manage password’ from the left hand menu then follow the on screen instructions and verify using your M&S Pass.

What is my password?

You need to setup a password on Internet Banking if you haven’t already done so. You may be automatically prompted to set-up your password at sign in. Otherwise once you have signed in select ‘Change my sign in details’ then ‘Manage password’ from the left hand menu and follow the on screen instructions.

What is my username?

This is your Internet Banking username. If you have forgotten this go to Internet Banking and click ‘Forgotten username’.

I’ve forgotten my security answer, how can I change it?

If you have forgotten this go to Internet Banking, enter your username and sign in, then click on ‘Forgotten your security answer’ and follow the on screen instructions.

Which devices are supported?

The M&S Banking App is compatible with:

  • Apple iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod Touch devices running operating system version 9.0 and higher
  • Android mobile and tablet devices running operating system version 4.3 and higher

Which accounts can I view with the app?

You can view your M&S Current Account or M&S Premium Current Account and if you hold them your Monthly Saver and Everyday Savings Account.

Will I be charged for using the M&S Banking App?

We won’t charge customers for using the app, however you may be charged by your network provider as the app requires an internet connection. Check your payment plan with your network provider.

Can I use the same services as Internet Banking on this app?

No, the M&S Banking App allows you to check your balance and the last 90 transactions on your account(s). Later this year we will be introducing more features such as transfers and payments.

Is the app secure?

The M&S Banking App is password protected for your security. You can manage your password and security question via Internet Banking.
