Getting started with the app
Have your digital banking details ready
Before you download the M&S Banking App you'll need to have your Internet Banking username and password handy, as you will need them to set up the app. If you've forgotten these details, please visit our forgotten details page for instructions on how to reset them.
Download the M&S Banking App
The M&S Banking App is available from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the instructions to set up the app – you'll need your Internet Banking username and password.
To download the latest version of our app you'll need to be running iOS 12.2 or Android 6 or above.
You'll also need to enter a unique code. You can receive this via SMS (if we hold your mobile phone number), please see our helpful video to guide you through this. You can also generate a unique code using your physical M&S PASS.

Getting started with the M&S Banking App
(Set up using your physical M&S PASS)
The M&S Banking App is easy to use and full of helpful features. Here’s how to set it up.
Available of compatible devices for main cardholders.
You’ll need your Internet Banking username and password to hand.
Download the M&S Banking App* and open it on your device.
*from the App Store or Google Play.
Then confirm you’re registered for Internet Banking.
To confirm, click ‘Continue for Apple devices or ‘Yes’ for Android devices.
Enter your Internet Banking username, and choose ‘physical M&S PASS’ to verify it’s you.
Enter the security code generated by your physical M&S PASS.
Same as you would do when signing in to Internet Banking.
and create a 6-digit Digital M&S PASS PIN.
Once the digital M&S PASS PIN is set up, it will replace your physical M&S PASS will no longer work as the app comes with a Digital M&S PASS which will replace it. Please dispose of your physical M&S PASS at your local recycling centre.
Simply re-enter the PIN to confirm it.
Now you’re all set up – simply sign in to use the app.
That’s it. When you next sign in, you can enable fingerprint recognition to make signing in easier and also to confirm online payments.

Sign in and get your points
Now you’re set up to access the M&S Banking App just sign in between 12 September 2022 and 28 October 2022 (inclusive) and you’ll receive 1,000 M&S rewards points in your February 2023 or subsequent quarterly reward mailing.
Once you sign in, your M&S Banking App will become your ‘Digital M&S Pass’. It can generate unique, single use security codes that you’ll need to enter when you sign in to Internet Banking in the future. If you’ve previously used a physical M&S PASS, a small calculator-like device, your Digital M&S PASS will replace it and your physical M&S PASS will no longer work.

What is the M&S Banking App offer?
M&S Bank is offering selected eligible M&S Credit Card main cardholder customers 1,000 M&S rewards points (worth £10 in reward vouchers to spend with M&S) if they set up and sign in to the M&S Banking App by 28 October 2022.
How do I set up the M&S Banking App?
You can download the app on a compatible device from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the set up instructions – you'll need to use your Internet Banking username and password.

How long will the offer run?
From 12 September to 28 October 2022 (inclusive), unless we end it sooner.
When will I get my points?
The M&S rewards points will be loaded on to the main cardholder's account by 29 November 2022 and will appear in the points total on your M&S till receipts and M&S Credit Card monthly statement.
When will I receive my reward vouchers?
M&S rewards points will be converted to M&S reward vouchers and sent to customers in the February 2023 or subsequent quarterly reward mailing.
