It’s easy to update your contact details

If you are registered for Internet Banking, simply follow the instructions below. We have also created a video to guide you through the process step by step.

How do I update my personal details in Internet Banking?

It's easy to update your details within Internet Banking.

Simply ‘Sign in’ to Internet Banking, select ‘My Details and Preferences’ on the left hand side, and select the details you wish to update.

We have created a short video that takes you through step by step how to update your details.

If you're unsure of your Internet Banking details, then please visit our 'Forgotten details' page for instructions on how to reset these.

Welcome to M&S Bank.

In this short video guide we’ll help you through the simple, step by step process of how you can update the personal details on your account.

First make sure you are signed in to M&S Internet Banking.

On the My Accounts screen please click ‘My details and preferences’ on the list on the left-hand side of your screen. A summary list will then appear underneath the link.

To change your email address, just click on ‘personal details’ and type your new address into the box. Then, simply click ‘save changes’ and the change will be saved.

Similarly, to change your telephone numbers click ‘telephone numbers’ and on the next screen you’ll see the telephone numbers we currently hold for you.

To make your changes click ‘amend details’ and input your new numbers. Once you have done this click ‘save changes’ and the new details will be saved.

Finally, to update your address details, click on ‘address details’ on the list and the next screen will show the address details we currently hold for you.

To amend these details, click the ‘amend address’ button and the next screen will ask for your new details.

Enter your new property number or name and your postcode, then click ‘Find address’ and the next screen should display your new address in full.

Unfortunately, new builds aren’t always recognised when you type in the postcode. If this happens, please call us and we'll update your details for you.

You can then choose whether to make the change immediately or at a date within the next 12 months.

Now click ‘save changes’ and that’s it.

You’ll see a message showing that your changes have been saved.

I'm unable to set up my M&S Banking App as I receive a 'No mobile number found' message and I can’t sign into my Internet Banking to update it?

If you are unable to access your account until you set up an M&S PASS, you’ll need to call us on 0345 600 5860 to update your mobile number.

I have recently updated my mobile number but still receive a 'No mobile number found' message when setting up my M&S Banking App?

If you have recently updated your mobile number, we need to make sure that they have been changed by you, so we place a delay between the change being made, and allowing the number to be used for certain things such as activating a Digital M&S PASS.
