I've been charged the wrong amount

These checks helped resolve my issue

These checks didn’t help, and I still wish to raise a dispute

By following these simple checks, you may be able to save time and avoid raising a dispute:

  • Step 1. Could additional charges have been added to a recent transaction? For example - taxes, service fees and card surcharges can be added to some payments
  • Step 2. Could exchange rates be a factor? Currency amounts can often differ from the transaction amount at point of purchase. e.g. retailers may have offered a currency conversion service at the point of payment
  • Step 3. Have you made multiple purchases to the retailer for different amounts? Some merchants might bundle more than one purchase together

Did the above checks help resolve your query?
