What to expect

We've teamed up with consents.online to give you a safe and secure way to tell us about your income and expenditure. It should only take 10 to 15 minutes to complete and it won't impact your credit rating. You'll only need to complete this form once, even if you hold multiple products.

We'll ask you for:

  • basic information about yourself
  • your current employment status
  • your current monthly income and outgoings – such as your salary and mortgage payments or rent

Step 1

It's important that we understand your situation and work with you to find the right solution. Please complete an Income and Expenditure form.

The form asks you about your monthly income and outgoings such as salary, mortgage payments, rent, utility bills and outstanding balances with other lenders so please have this information to hand.

Step 2

Once complete, talk to our specialist team about how we can best help you, you can use our 'Chat with us' service or call us on 0345 300 1312. Lines are open 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am-4pm Saturday.

What happens next?

Once you've submitted the form, we'll contact you via email within 3 working days to let you know the outcome of your assessment. Please ensure the email address you provide us with is correct and up to date. This may include further tailored support online, or ask you to contact one of our friendly team, who'll be able to use the information you've already provided to work out the best options for you. Just so you know, some of the solutions we offer may impact your credit rating, but we'll let you know if this is the case.

What's consents.online?

consents.online is a regulated provider of Open Banking that lets you be sure that you're only sharing the information you want to, when you want to. And you can be sure you know exactly who's looking at it.

This is provided free of charge to help you provide your information for the income and expenditure assessment more quickly and easily.

How do I use consents.online?

To use consents.online through Open Banking, you'll need the username and password you use to log on to your main bank account. This will be the account where you receive your salary and make bill payments from.

Alternatively, you can provide your details manually.

The easiest way to use consents.online is to open the income and expenditure assessment from your mobile, but you can also use your browser.

If you're the main cardholder, you can get personalised support.
