How to sign in to M&S Internet Banking using a Digital M&S PASS
Before you start, you’ll need to have your smartphone or tablet to hand so that you can access your Digital M&S PASS through the M&S Banking App.
Go to the Internet Banking homepage and enter your username to sign in.
You’ll then be asked to enter your security code. To generate this code, you’ll need to use your Digital M&S PASS.
Open the M&S Banking App on your smartphone or tablet and on the first screen, you’ll see the button ‘Generate security code’. Click this button and then select ‘Internet Banking – Sign in code’.
Now use face or fingerprint recognition, if you have this set up. Alternatively, enter your 6-digit M&S PASS PIN. Please note, an incorrect PIN will generate an invalid security code.
The next screen will display your single-use 6-digit security code.
Enter this code on the Internet Banking sign-in screen and click ‘Sign in’.
That’s it. You should now be able to see your account summary screen.

- Step 2: Switch on your device by holding down the green button (bottom right) for 2 seconds
- Step 3: Enter your PIN into your physical M&S PASS
- Step 4: Press the green button again to generate a security code
- Step 5: Enter this code on the Internet Banking sign-in screen and click ‘Sign in’.
That’s it! You should now be able to see your accounts summary screen.
Please note, if you use the M&S Banking App and have set up your Digital M&S PASS, you now need to use this to access Internet Banking.
Your physical M&S PASS will no longer work, as you are not able to use both a Digital and physical M&S PASS.

First switch on your M&S PASS - press and hold down the green (bottom right hand) button for 2 seconds to turn on your M&S PASS, then enter your PIN. Now press the green button to generate a single-use security code.
