To be able to use all app features, you’ll need to ensure that you’re running the latest version of our app. The M&S Banking App is currently compatible with Apple iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod Touch devices running operating system version 14 and higher. You should always make sure that you're using the most up-to-date operating system that your device can support.
The following devices are able to run iOS 14 or iPadOS 14, and the M&S Banking App:
- iPhone SE and subsequent models
- iPod touch gen 7
- iPad gen 5 and subsequent models, iPad mini 4 and subsequent models, iPad Air 2 and subsequent models and all iPad Pro devices
The app is currently also compatible with Android mobile and tablet devices running operating system version 8.0 and higher. Again, we recommend you also use the most up to date operating system your device can support.
If you are using multiple devices to access the M&S Banking App, please ensure they are all updated to the highest operating system they can support.
If you aren't able to update your device to iOS 14, iPadOS 14 or Android 8.0 and are unable to use an updated device to access the latest version of the app, you may still be able to download and use a previous version for a period of time. Older versions of the app won’t have all the account management features or security updates, so occasionally we will ask you to update to the latest version of the app so you have the best experience.
Alternatively, you’ll still be able to use Internet Banking on your mobile phone or tablet's browser. All you have to do is open the internet browser on your device, open the M&S Internet Banking page and sign in. Now you'll be able to use all of the features of Internet Banking such as accessing your statements, 'Chat with us' and make payments to your credit card on the go.
