M&S Banking App

The M&S Banking App available from either the App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play™ (for Android™ devices) enables you to:

  • View your balances on any M&S accounts you hold
  • See transactions on any current account, credit card, Monthly Saver and Everyday Savings Account you hold
  • Make payments from an M&S current account to an existing payee

Easy steps to get started

Make sure you are registered for Internet Banking as you’ll need your username, password and the answer to your security questions to log in to the app.

FAQs

I’ve forgotten my password, how can I change it?

If you’ve forgotten your password, sign in to Internet Banking, select ‘Change my sign in details’, then ‘Manage password’ from the left hand menu then follow the on screen instructions and verify using your M&S Pass.

What is my password?

You need to setup a password on Internet Banking if you haven’t already done so. You may be automatically prompted to set-up your password at sign in. Otherwise once you have signed in select ‘Change my sign in details’ then ‘Manage password’ from the left hand menu and follow the on screen instructions.

What is my username?

This is your Internet Banking username. If you have forgotten this go to Internet Banking and click ‘Forgotten username’.

I’ve forgotten my security answer, how can I change it?

If you have forgotten this go to Internet Banking, enter your username and sign in, then click on ‘Forgotten your security answer’ and follow the on screen instructions.

Which devices are supported?

The M&S Banking App is compatible with:

  • Apple iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod Touch devices running operating system version 9.0 and higher
  • Android mobile and tablet devices running operating system version 4.3 and higher

Which accounts can I view with the app?

You can view balances on all of your M&S accounts. You can also see transactions on your M&S current account, M&S Credit Card and if you hold them, your Monthly Saver and Everyday Savings Account. Finally you can make payments and transfers from your M&S current account to existing payees.

Will I be charged for using the M&S Banking App?

We won’t charge customers for using the app, however you may be charged by your network provider as the app requires an internet connection. Check your payment plan with your network provider.

Can I use the same services as Internet Banking on this app?

No, the M&S Banking App allows you to check the balances on all your accounts. You can also see the last 90 transactions on your current account and transactions on your credit card and certain savings accounts.

Is the app secure?

The M&S Banking App is password protected for your security. You can manage your password and security question via Internet Banking.

How can I pay someone via the app?

To pay a recipient you've already set up via Internet Banking, tap 'move money' and select the correct payee.

Can I create a new payment to a person or organisation using the App?

No, currently you can only make payments to any people or organisations you've sent money to within the last 13 months from your online account. To add a new payee you should log in to Internet Banking.
