Update contact details

If you use our app on an Apple device, you’re now able to update your mobile phone number and email address within our app. Visit our update contact details page to find out how.

Spend Notifications

You’re now able to choose to be notified when you spend using your M&S Credit Card – so you can stay on top of things. This feature can easily be enabled through your M&S Banking App. To find out how, visit our Frequently asked questions.

Activate your M&S Credit Card

We have launched a new feature within the M&S Banking App which allows you to activate your M&S Credit Card – it’s easy and secure, and you can do it on the move!

Changes to how you sign in

We have made some changes to the screens when you sign in to the app. You will notice there is a new sign in screen.

iOS customers – You will be given the option to sign in with Touch ID, Face ID or your Digital M&S PASS PIN

Android customers - during the sign in process, we have also changed in some instances the references to sign in with 'Fingerprint' to 'Biometrics'. You will be given the option to be able to sign in with biometrics (fingerprint or face on compatible devices) or your Digital M&S PASS PIN.

The 'Generate security code' is still at the bottom of the sign in page – customers signing in with their fingerprint will find this easier to access.

Re-designed accounts and transaction screens

When you now select the account you wish to view from the balances screen, you will land directly on the transactions screen (rather than on the account details screen). Don't worry, you can still see your account details by simply swiping down on the transactions screen.

'Chat with us' online

We have launched a new feature within the M&S Banking App which allows you to ask specific questions about your account – it's an easy and secure alternative to calling us and means you won't waste any more time waiting on hold!

The M&S Banking App is currently available on compatible devices running operating system iOS version 12.2 and higher. The app is also compatible with Android 6 or higher. We recommend using the most up to date operating system your device can support.
