What devices are compatible?

To be able to use all app features, you’ll need to ensure that you’re running the latest version of our app. The M&S Bank app is currently compatible with:

  • Apple devices running iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 and above
  • Android devices running Android 11 and above


You should always make sure that you're using the most up-to-date operating system that your device can support. If you are using multiple devices to access the M&S Bank app, please ensure they are all updated to the highest operating system they can support.

If you aren't able to update your device to iOS 15, iPadOS 15 or Android 11 and are unable to use an updated device to access the latest version of the app, you may still be able to download and use a previous version for a period of time. Older versions of the app won’t have all the account management features or security updates, so occasionally we will ask you to update to the latest version of the app, so you have the best experience.

Alternatively, you’ll still be able to use Online Banking on your mobile phone or tablet's browser. All you have to do is open the internet browser on your device, open the Online Banking page and sign in. Now you'll be able to use all of the features of Online Banking such as accessing your statements, 'Chat with us' and make payments to your credit card on the go.
