Important information about the M&S Bank app

1. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ > ‘About’ - you should see a number next to the ‘iOS Version’ heading. 
2. If your version is lower than 16, please update your operating system if your device allows you to by going back to ‘General’ and selecting ‘Software Update’.

1. If you own another device that is supported by our minimum operating systems, please download and set up the app on that device. You can use the M&S Bank app on up to 3 devices, we recommend you remove any unsupported devices from your app.
2. If you have no alternative devices, you will still be able to access Online Banking by ordering a physical M&S PASS using ‘Chat with us’ within the M&S Bank app. Alternatively, visit our contact us page for details on how else to get in touch. It’ll take up to 7 working days for your physical M&S PASS to arrive. Once you receive and set up your physical M&S PASS, you’ll no longer be able to use the M&S Bank app.

You will still be able to make a payment using Online Banking or visit our ways to pay page to find alternative ways to make a payment.

You can do this in our app by signing in on one of your existing devices, select the menu in the top right corner, select ‘Manage devices’ and then remove a device.

Yes, if you begin using a device which is compatible you will be able to download and set up the M&S Bank app. Once the app is set up, your physical M&S PASS will no longer work and you will instead use the app to generate the security codes needed to sign in to Online Banking.
