M&S Club Rewards with Insurance is closing on 26 March 2026

Following a recent review we have made the decision to withdraw the travel insurance benefit, which is underwritten by Aviva Insurance Limited (‘Aviva’), from Club Rewards subscriptions. This means existing travel insurance policies will end on 26 March 2026. Please be assured that the rest of the Club Rewards benefits will continue.

Please note, cover will still be in place for any trips that begin on or before 26 March 2026 for the duration of the trip. Provided that the trip lasts no more than 45 days (or 31 days in total in any calendar year for winter sports).1

Do I need to do anything?

Yes. If required, you will need to find alternative travel insurance cover for any trips which begin from 27 March 2026.

Club Rewards with Travel Insurance subscription

Your subscription will automatically change to Club Rewards on 27 March 2026, meaning your travel insurance will end so you do not need to do anything. You’ll continue to receive a quarterly Club Rewards pack containing your M&S Fashion, Home and Beauty vouchers, as well as M&S Food and hot drink vouchers. Plus a birthday treat voucher and 2 extra Rewards points for every £1 you spend when shopping in M&S.

Alternatively, you can downgrade or cancel your Club Rewards subscription at any time by either: completing an online form or calling us on 0345 900 0900, lines are open 8am-8pm*.

If you cancel your Club Rewards subscription before 26 March 2026, any medical upgrade policy will end at the same time.

What happens if I have a medical upgrade?

  • If your existing medical upgrade expires before the 26 March 2026, you will not receive a renewal notice to extend the upgrade.

•  If your existing medical upgrade expires after the 26 March 2026, or if you take out an annual medical upgrade, this will automatically end on 26 March 2026 and a refund for any remaining months will be issued to the card used for payment. Aviva will contact you separately to confirm they have cancelled your medical upgrade.

Any planned trips that start prior to 26 March 2026 will still include the medical upgrade cover. If you are unsure when your existing upgrade expires, please check your upgrade schedule.
